ABOUT THE PLACE: The society is blessed with the natural perennial Synrang Ringai Lake which is a fresh water lake watered by natural spring situated at Mawten village, about 2.8 km from Mawkyrwat the District headquarter of South West Khasi Hills. The lake is known for its natural beauty Surrounded by spectacular landscape and rock cliff and covered by green forest , bushes where one can find varieties of Medicinal plants. The lake is a serene and peaceful spot and it also acts as a natural habitat for birds.
